History

It all started with the winning of 2 first class Continental RTW tickets from the American Express Wishlist way back in 2007 equivalently delivered with 560K miles. 6 years later with the merger of United and Continental, topping off the account to 700K miles with credit card offers, and a planned Leave of Absence from work, this trip is actually taking place starting 4/3/2013 and ending 6/28/2013.

Bye Bye Budapest

We have had a wonderful time in Budapest. It is such a compact city full of beautiful architecture and very nice people. We done some sightseeing of the gorgeous buildings here, gone on a Danube River cruise, went to a Palinka (local fruit brandy) festival, had some great local food, and explored the nightlife. It has been a great 3 days. Please enjoy some pictures.  For now we are heading back to Vienna by train to have 3 days there as well.

A Daily large food, trinket, and eatery market. Gorgeous building.

The fire is there for a very good reason
